The Wells Community Centre offers a variety of well-equipped spaces suitable for a wide range of leisure, sport, and community activities. Whether you’re planning a class, hosting an event, or running a regular group, our flexible facilities can be tailored to your needs.

Book Main Hall

Main Hall

Capacity: 40 people
Pricing: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

As the name suggests, this is our biggest room. Light and airy, with windows on three sides. Perfect for dancing, rehearsing or other activities where you need space to swing your arms about. Great for events such as fetes or table-top sales. You can even split the space to create two rooms in one by using the built-in screens.

  • Dimensions: 10.5m x 17m 
  • Amenities: Wi-fi, room dividing screen, multiple plug sockets, connecting door to the Lounge (if required).
  • Location: Upper floor. Level with the car park. Access through main entrance. 
  • Costs: £30 per hour. Other prices available for regular hirers.

Lounge

Capacity: 40 people
Pricing: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Our second largest room is a cosy and intimate space. Carpeted, with comfy chairs and tables, plus complete with a kitchenette, the Lounge is perfect for sitdown events such as quizzes, bingo nights or presentations.

  • Dimensions:10m x 10m
  • Amenities: Wi-fi, hotel-style chairs and tables, kitchenette complete with fridge, sink and serving bar. Multiple plug sockets, connecting door to the Main Hall (if required).
  • Location: Upper floor. Level with the car park. Access through main entrance. 
  • Costs: £30 per hour. Other prices available for regular hirers.
Book Spalding Hall

Spalding Hall

Capacity: 40 people
Pricing: £20.00 per hour

Named after a much-loved member of the Wells community, the Spalding Hall is a multi-functional space. The hard-wearing lino floor makes the room perfect for dance or exercise or more messy activities, such as those involving children. There is also a small kitchenette and serving hatch complete with fridge for serving refreshments. Exterior doors also give access to our children’s play park.

  • Dimensions:10.5m x 8m
  • Amenities: Wi-fi, kitchenette with fridge, private toilets, exterior access (if required), multiple plug sockets.
  • Location: Main entrance access (with stairs) or via exterior path and doors. 
  • Costs: £30 per hour. Other prices available for regular hirers.
Book Study

Study

Capacity: 20 people
Pricing: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

The study is our cosy, carpeted room perfect for more intimate events such as therapy sessions, discussion groups or corporate brainstorms. Exterior doors give access to our surrounding grounds, and path to the car park.

  • Dimensions:8m x 7.5m
  • Amenities: Wi-fi, exterior access (if required), multiple plug sockets. 
  • Location: Lower level. Main entrance access (with stairs) or via exterior path and doors. 
  • Costs: £20 per hour. Other prices available for regular hirers.
